Elise Yule and Friends
Clown, Visionary Dreamer.
Offering a flexible mixture of sounds and textures, with anything from a multi instrumental live band show that can get a whole crowd jumping, to a totally stripped down raw unplugged acoustic set that can let a whole crowd melt into chilled out bliss, this is a band with a particular talent at creating spontaneous waves of joyful spirited singing & crowd participation. Always at an Avalon Roots gig, there is a strong emphasis on community spirited connectedness and a sense that anyone in the crowd is welcome to join in and sing along.

Yvonne McGillivray is an artist, who grew up in the wild, west Highlands of Scotland.
Her “large, luminous paintings glow with secrets” and show a deep reverence for the magic and mystery of creation and the interconnectedness of all life.
Much of her work shows the inter-relationship of humanity with the plant, animal and spirit realms. Journeys of healing and transformation, where ancient, primal magic blends with vibrant new frequencies.
Working in a very intuitive way, the images are channelled directly onto the canvas, bringing forms into manifestation of birds, serpents and spirals, magical languages and crystalline kingdoms that shapeshift across the canvas and connect us to the sacred ways of nature, spirit, truth and beauty.
Inspiration comes from nature and through dreams and visions, shamanic journeying, music and sound, from inner worlds and rich life experiences.
